While hanging out, I told a friend I was not happy with the “Glee” Whitney Houston tribute episode. A young man who overheard what I stated immediately began to sing “So Emotional” while shooting me snotty looks. He was quite lucky that I’m not violent and all he got was me side-eyeing him.

And to make matters worse, I’m positive by his actions he thought he sounded so good, as sure as I am that he thought the “Glee” version of “So Emotional” was terrific. He is allowed his opinion, but as someone with age, wisdom, and taste on my side I’m going to have disagree with his assessment and mark my viewpoint golden and uppermost.

I just keep telling myself that the reason Amber Riley didn’t have a solo in the “Glee” Whitney Houston tribute episode was because she was in the studio working on her album. Or she was unavailable because she was visiting the moon or she got hives and her throat closed up after she recorded “How Will I Know” with Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, and Lea Michele. Yes, these will be some of the many lies I will tell myself to get through the fact that Amber Riley doesn’t have a solo in this upcoming tribute episode for her idol, Whitney Houston.

Unfortunately, there are no lies I can properly tell myself to help me get through the covers of “So Emotional,” “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay,” “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” and “I Have Nothing.”

As much as I adore Jonathan I always wonder if they take out his spitting in post. That man is a major spitter on stage. I’ve never seen him in a production wear he hasn’t spit on his cast mates repeatedly. So it is difficult for me to believe that in the scene he has with Alex that he didn’t spit on his face. I’m horrible for wondering this, but I just can’t help it. I have issues.

Totally being self-centered here, but seeing Amber next to Naya and Finn makes me realize how truly short I am. No matter how tall I appear or I think I am, I’m really short because Amber is taller than me. I am so not happy at this moment.
